2005 Chevy Colorado?
I have a Chevrolet Colorado 2005, a 5-cylinder in it. I have about 53K miles on it. I changed my oil around 2000 miles ago, but have no oil filter to replace the old with. I emptied the oil and filter and emptied it out. I put it back and enigine filled me with fresh oil. I forgot it and still have not changed the filer. I have to go 1000 miles or less. My check engine light has just arrived and is in constant which supposedly means emissions problem. (according to my manual) Did not replace the filer has something to do with it? I'm not good with vehicles so please explain in detail. My plan is to get connected to a reader and see what it is, but any leads would be good. Thanks
